Prashant Jhawar
Chairman & CEO

Mr. Prashant Jhawar is the Chairman & CEO of UshaComm. Mr. Jhawar has been instrumental in the formation, planning and growth of the company. With his global vision he lays down the corporate business strategy, guiding expansion to leverage market opportunities. He spearheads partner collaboration initiatives and maintaining investment banking relationships. He additionally oversees the European operations of UshaComm.
Mr. Jhawar is also the Vice-Chairman of the Usha Martin Group (www.ushamartin.com), a USD 900 million corporate entity with diversified interests in steel, wire ropes, telecom and IT products and services. Since joining the family business in 1982, he has been actively involved with all its divisions. From 1994, he has then leading both the old and the new economy segments of the business.

Dr. Saugata Banerjee
Executive Director Operations

Dr. Saugata Banerjee is the Executive Director of UshaComm. He is responsible for strategic and operational planning, and execution of all UshaComm's activities globally.
Prior to joining UshaComm, Dr. Banerjee worked as a Strategy Consultant & Trainer for a range of large and medium-sized organizations (including The World Bank, Duke Energy, AT&T, Sprint Telecom, The Aditya Birla Group, BHEL, Reuters, Hindustan Lever, etc.). In the Earlier, Saugata was with Monitor Company (Management Consultants) in their global headquarters in Cambridge, USA, advising Fortune 500 clients.
Dr. Banerjee did a PhD in Management from INSEAD, France, and an MBA at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA. He has also been a Research Fellow at Harvard University, USA. He lectures as part of the stationed Guest Faculty in IIM (Calcutta).

Monila Das Gupta
Senior Manager Human Resources

Ms. Monila Das Gupta heads the HR department of UshaComm, and handles a major chunk of Developmental Activities. Ms Das Gupta holds a Masters degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University. Prior to joining UshaComm Ms.Das Gupta was associated with CMC Limited Kolkata for over 15 years. At the time of leaving CMC she was in charge of overall HR activities of CMC Limited Eastern Region.

Ranjan Mukherjee
Head of Products Development

Mr. Ranjan Mukherjee is a Senior Director in Product Development, Mr. Mukherjee is an M. Sc. Tech from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad and has a PGCBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur. With18 years of experience in software development and technology leadership, Mr. Mukherjee fosters the Research and Development initiatives of UshaComm's products and solutions. A 10-year Telecom Billing and OSS veteran, he has engineered and directed several products in the Telecom and Financial domain. He has the experience of successfully building, leading and managing large teams as well as customer and partner relationships to meet the organizational objectives. Mr. Mukherjee has played an important role in implementing billing solutions at multiple customer locations during his career.
His current responsibilities include Staffing, Organization, Training, Project Management and Process Quality Improvement in Product Development.

Arijit Bhattacharyya
Global Head,Information Systems

Mr. Arijit Bhattacharyya heads the combined Information Services team of Ushacomm and Eppixcomm. He and his team are responsible for maintaining and managing the entire IT resources of Ushacomm and Eppixcomm offices in India, South Africa and UK. His team is also responsible for IT facility management and provides project support for the organization.

In his personal capacity Mr. Bhattacharyya has taken the responsibility to explore new and contemporary technology on an on-going basis and make the same available to the organization to improve the business performance while maintaining lower costs.

Mr. Bhattacharyya has a rich experience of 10 years in IT and Telecom Industries as Network and System Management/Administration. Prior to joining Ushacomm, he was with organizations like L&T Information Technologies Ltd, Modi Telstra, Spice Telecom and Bharti Airtel Enterprise Services Ltd.

 Sandip Bose
Vice President, BPO

As Vice President, BPO, Mr. Sandip Bose pioneers the business process outsourcing initiatives of UshaComm. He is also involved in an advisory capacity in the HR, Quality Assurance and Information System (IS) groups of the company.  

An engineer with a B. Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from University of Calcutta, Mr. Bose is responsible for the entire BPO operations and delivery of services, He spearheads the company’s roadmap and methodology to ensure quality service for all projects.

Prior to joining UshaComm, Mr. Bose was associated with Tata Consultancy Services as Business Development Director in the Quality Consulting Service Practice. Mr. Bose has also worked for renowned IT majors like Satyam Computers and NIIT.

Tamal Kumar Bardhan
Head Of Marketing

Mr. Tamal Bardhan leads the marketing initiatives of UshaComm. Mr. Bardhan who holds a Masters Degree from IIT Kharagpur is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategies for services and solutions in Telecom and allied fields. He helps in defining and planning the offerings of UshaComm and executes the positioning of Ushacomm services in the target markets.
He is also responsible for the development of partnership and alliances for the organization. Mr. Bardhan has 10 years of Telecom experience and has been closely involved with multiple aspects of the business including Solution Definition, sales Support, Market Research, Client and Investor interactions.
Tamal is a featured speaker in trade shows and seminars and also has co-authored papers on High Tech Marketing published by Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Bipradas Basak Head-Global Delivery Mr. Bipradas Basak, a B.E. from SHPB and an M.Tech from IIT, is the Head of the Global Delivery in UshaComm. He has more than 22 years of industry experience in solution development and delivery for various organizations across the globe. He is responsible for end-to-end design and delivery of high value projects worth over USD 20 Million and 4000+ person-months size. Mr. Basak has served Global IT organizations like CMC Limited, PCL – Mindware, Siemens, Interra Technologies etc. and has extensive experience in reengineering projects, building and designing total solutions using case tools, putting together fresh teams in new technologies. He is a member of the Guest Faculty in IIM Indore. His responsibilities in UshaComm includes staffing, organization, training, project management, customer deliveries and process quality improvement in Global delivery.

Rahul Kalla Head Of sales   Rahul Kalla is the Head of Global Sales, Ushacomm, driving worldwide sales effort through offices in London, Kolkata, Atlanta and Johannesburg. Prior to joining Ushacomm he did independent strategy consulting for leading companies in Turkey, Middle East, India and Europe assisting both business development and fund raising activities. Mr. Kalla’s key assignments included conceptualising and bringing to fruition a worldwide mobile content delivery platform for a European Football Organisation. Previous experience includes running over USD 100 million businesses in Turkey and Dubai, which he exited profitably. Rahul is a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School, where he was awarded the prestigious Emerging Economies Scholarship. He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Kolkata and a Bachelor in Engineering (Hons) from BITS, Pilani. He had also served as a Senior Associate with the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, assisting them in developing and funding new courses in Managing Strategic Outsourcing.

Saikat Biswas Head Of Delivery & Implementation Mr. Saikat Biswas is the Head of the Delivery and Implementation Unit in UshaComm and has more than 21 years of industry experience in product development and delivery. Mr. Biswas has  domain experience spread over Telecom OSS/BSS, Voice Mail, Interactive Voice Response, Financing, Leasing and Insurance. He has successfully executed projects on Billing & Customer Care, Data warehousing/OLAP and on other business functions. Mr. Biswas has served for Global IT organizations like Birla Technical Services, Comverse Inc., USA. He has worked with Bull-Honeywell Inc., CIT Inc. and MIB Inc. as a long term consultant .His responsibilities in UshaComm includes delivery at customer site, customization, managed service operations and business achievement programs. Mr. Biswas has a Post Graduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India.

Dipak Sen Chief Financial Officer Mr Sen is a Chartered Accountant (A.C.A.) with more than 14 years of experience and he was with IFB Automotive Pvt. Ltd. before joining Ushacomm. He has worked for the Usha Martin Group, the Apeejay Group and the RPG Group. He has comprehensive domestic and international financial management experience. His articles have been published in leading newspapers and financial websites in India.
